Privacy notice
How your details are used
Draft notice. To be reviewed before the business starts trading. Last updated: 13 October 2026
Who is responsible
FlatPackWirral is run by [Owner name to be added], a local furniture assembly service in Wirral. For any privacy question, contact me on WhatsApp at 07XXX XXXXXX.
What I collect
- Your name and how to contact you (usually your WhatsApp number).
- Your postcode for a quote, and your full address only once a job is booked.
- Details of the furniture: product links, model names, quantities and any photos you send of boxes or rooms.
- Your preferred dates, access notes (stairs, parking) and anything else you tell me about the job.
- Payment records and invoices for completed jobs.
- Photos of finished work, only if you agree.
Why I use it
- To give you a quote, book and carry out the job, and deal with any aftercare. This is needed to provide the service you asked for.
- To keep business and tax records, which the law requires.
- To ask, once, if you'd like to leave a review. You don't have to.
- To show photos of finished work on this website or social media, only with your permission. You can withdraw it at any time.
I don't sell your details or use them for unrelated marketing.
The website and WhatsApp
This website doesn't use cookies, analytics or tracking. The quote form doesn't send or store anything itself. It prepares a WhatsApp message for you, and nothing is shared until you send it yourself.
WhatsApp is run by WhatsApp Ireland Ltd (part of Meta). Messages you send there are also covered by WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to a booking are deleted after 6 months. Records of completed jobs are kept for up to 6 years for tax purposes, then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, or object to how it's used. Just send a message. If you're unhappy with how your information has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
